The wet and cold weather has arrived, and the streets are still littered with the last of autumn's fallen leaves. It's great writing weather! I've been working on Odin's Hall and doing some research. At the same time I'm thinking about other books that are in various drafted forms. And there's also the work I'm doing on USV for my Patreon. Work has been very busy, and I'd be lying if I said that isn't chewing into my time. It's a bit of a balancing act, but I'm managing. One of the ways I juggle things is to dive into shorter pieces. These shorter pieces are chunks of USV history from between 1050AD to 2000AD. Through those short stories, which will first appear on Patreon and then in published short stories, give me green fields to create in. So far, I've got a range of stories scattered in places as diverse as the Arctic, Texas, Brazil, York, Lisbon, Kiev and more. I really look forward to sharing some of these with you soon.
