Well, That Didn't Work

I was planning on getting a couple of blog posts up this month, but I havent had a chance to draft anything, let alone post it. The Patreon posts for USV subscribers have also had their billing paused while I try and catch my breath. With all of that, plus work, and wrapping up USV#4: Odin's Hall, it's been hectic. Having said that... Here I am posting. Let's consider the below a an update: The reread of USV#4 after working in editorial feedback is going well. Very soon the next (and last) round of editorial will begin. Tomorrow, I'm planning on restarting the Patreon USV posts with an update on what Trion is doing in Vinland from USV#5: Markland Aflame. I've put some thought and begun the outline for some blog posts that I had originally hoped to kick off in August. These will cover some inspirations for my writing from film and TV, as well as in a separate post, books. I also want to do a post on importnat influence, especially the ones that helped nourish my love of fantasy, sci fi and story telling. Also, on another front, work is not just calming down but heading towards some changes that should alleviate the burnout inducing pace and stress that has been blasting me this year. We've had what is best described as 4 (or maybe 5) projects (for want of a better word) over the past 6 months, but they have now passed. The one upside from the burnout in May is that my writing time has proven to be a real haven, so I'm doubly enojoying it now. In the past, especially from 2013 to 2017, my wriitng and related publishing and promotion work was usually where my burn out came from. I'll post again before mid-September.
