Back in Perth

12 November 2025 I'm back in Perth for a couple of different family things. The heat is starting to press on the city, but not in a big way yet. The change is enough that it's clear that any chance of a slip back into wintry weather has gone. I was never a big fan of Perth's summer. Hopefully, I'll be flying back to Sydney late next week. While family stuff was the reason for the trip, and has been hectic, work has also been crazy after a few days off. All that has impacted my writing time, but I've made some good progress today and expect to daily for the next week. I also think I'm very much in the home stretch for the USV#4: Odin's Hall. I've got about 10,000 words to go (about 40 pages). Once that's done, I'll do a read-thru (and no doubt a few changes) before it goes through editorial. When USV#4: Odin's Hall is in editorial, I'll be working on USV#5: Markland Aflame. I have close to 50% of this book done, the last in the Markland Settlement Saga, and I should be wrapping it up early in the new year. When USV#4 & USV#5 are published, that will mark the relaunch of the USV series - along with a few other surprises! Keep checking here for more news!
