Flying Back to Sydney

The past week has been flat out with family and work. The flight also gave me a chance to wrap up a Dragon Tide instalment, catch up on a Patreon article or two, as well as write this blog.

I have one week left of work, then two weeks where I’ll just be writing before we fly out for a Scandinavian Christmas and New Year in Edinburgh. The break that’s coming feels long overdue and sorely needed. It’s been eight years since I last travelled outside Australia.

I’ll be trying to blog while travelling, documenting where we are going, as well as letting people know how things are, but I suspect how much blogging happens will depend on moments of downtime while we’re out and about, plus the ease of getting online.

We’ll see how we go.

The coming week will be me wrapping up at work as I head off for the six-week-long break. I’ll also be prioritising getting Patreon ready. A lot of other things are already put to bed, but I’m sure the world will send a surprise or two.
