Status Update #5: March Writing

March has been a productive month! So far, I have done three Patreon posts, carrying the storyline forward for Odin's Hall, a short story instalment to be published with USV#4, and logged well over a dozen chapters of Odin's Hall. All of it has been USV-based text. I'm writing about Vikings, the Norse, Markland, and Vinland, as well as Uppsala in Sweden. I think I've cranked out about 29,300 words so far, and there's still more than a week of the month left! Work (the day job) has been busy, as has life. The AFL footy season is back, which I always find energising. On top of that, there some great TV has arrived or soon will be. Wheel of Time is great, and I think Rings of Power is amazing for what it adds to Tolkien's world. Andor is coming back next month, too. And, amidst all this, as Sydney starts - ever slightly - to cool, the promise of an Australian winter looms. And that is also the promise of great writing weather! And hopefully, some skiing!
I'm reworking some of USV#4: Odin's Hall and still need to flesh out some storylines, notably Rauthr the Red Raven. Other storylines have been mainly done and put to bed.
It's great to be back in Markland, Vinland, and at Uppsala!
