Status Update #6: June Writing 2025

Well, June had been a crazy month!
I’ve clocked up a respectable number of words, while juggling a dash back to Perth for a family matter, and end of financial year chaos for my day job.
I managed to do:
21,000 new words!
Revise 6,000 words for Patreon posts (scheduled up to 27th July)
1,000 words for blog entries
Start thinking about season 2 of Dragon Tide
And some reading, as well as deal with some other less exciting admin matters
The 21,000 words were all for USV#4: Odin’s Hall and USV#5: Markland Aflame.
During the two weeks in Perth, my usual routine had to flex to accommodate hospital visits. That meant sometimes I didn’t quite get my daily word count in, but overall I was still able to get a lot done. July will hopefully be a little less crammed. I also have some time off for an excursion into the country. Hopefully that will allow for some good writing time!
